Placed in a natural, peaceful setting, this cottage has wonderful views. It is one of the oldest houses in the village; it has been recently restored, combining comfort with its original rustic style: it keeps the original wooden rafters and ceiling, the fireplace and its stone façade. It is equipped for three people. On the ground floor there is a kitchen-sitting room and a bathroom, and there are two bedrooms upstairs. The cottage is set in the village of Buelles, 2.8 miles away from Panes, the capital of the district, which is the entrance to Picos de Europa and the gorges of La Hermida and Cares. The coast is 3.5 miles away. The area offers the possibility to take part in outdoor activities such as visiting the caves, horse riding, mountain routes, canoeing, and mountain-bike routes… The River Cares-Deva flows through the village and there is a pedestrian path along its banks, to facilitate the access to fishers (salmon, trout). Next to the river there is a wonderful wood of oaks and willows, which has been declared a Natural Monument in the Plan of Natural Resource Areas.
