La Corona is located in the Valle de Lago, in the Somiedo Wildlife Park, at a height of 1,200m. The district of L´Auterio where the house is sited has only about twenty houses and very few inhabitants. That is why it is a very peaceful place. The access road finishes here and from this point on the 6 km longtrack leading to the lake of the valley begins. The house’s façade is stone and the front has a wooden and glass balcony like the rest of the balconies and windows. Outside, we have a yard with tables and benches to enjoy the countryside as from the house one can see a large beech grove, mountainside and area of fields. Here deer and goats can be seen grazing at any time of year. The house’s decor is rustic, based on furniture restored by us and hand-made carpets, table cloths and cushions. All breakfasts and meals are made with natural, home-made products.

The house has a ground floor, first floor and sheltered area and is laid out as follows: On the ground floor is the living/dining room with a fireplace where guests may sit down to watch television, listen to music or read. Here too breakfast, lunch and dinner are served but must be ordered beforehand. Likewise on the ground floor is the kitchen and a common bathroom where the washing machine is. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and heating. The second floor is a loft and is divided into another three rooms of the same kind.

The five rooms for renting have outside views through the balcony on the first floor and the “velux” and balcony in the attic, just like four of the five bathrooms. Four bedrooms are double and one single. On the ground floor is the living/dining room with a fireplace where guests may sit down to watch television, listen to music or read.
